Welcome to the “Basics of Capacitors” Course!

I’m Fabrizio and I will be your instructor.

Electronics is my passion and I have been playing with circuits for as long as I can remember. I started as a young maker in my parents garage, I later studied electronics in college and today I work as Electrical Engineer in Silicon Valley.

Capacitors are fundamental components in electronics. No circuit can function without them. This course will teach you the main properties of capacitors, how capacitors operate and how to analyze simple electrical circuits with batteries, resistors and capacitors. Different type of capacitors are discussed and used in simple applications.

Through this course, you will learn the laws governing the change and discharge of capacitors in circuits, and you will see how capacitors are able to store electrical energy and how this feature is used in real applications.

Electronics can be intimidating, but it is easy to learn with the right help.
